Cost of health services in India (CHSI) Study data provides data from a national costing survey across 11 states. The Costing of Health Services in India (CHSI) study was funded by the Department of Health Research and carried out by PGIMER, Chandigarh in collaboration with the state level Medical Research Units of ICMR.
Cost data is provided as average unit costs by specialty for inpatient, outpatient, intensive care unit (ICU) and operating theatre service centres at current levels of capacity and re-estimated at levels of 80% and 100% capacity utilisation. The estimated unit cost of health benefit packages defined under the PMJAY scheme are also available.
